As you can see below, we are approaching our Banking System Upgrade timeline and our online application for Membership is temporarily unavailable. Please come back and join us on August 11 so we can help you do more, be more, and achieve more with your money and your life.


Our internal teams have been working diligently since last year on a banking system upgrade which will provide efficiencies for everyone, both Members and Credit Union. This page provides you with resources you may need including a timeline and information on changes to online banking. In addition, the Resource Guides contain a list of possible actions you may need to take, depending on how you bank with DUCA. Please check back regularly for news and updates.


All aspects of this initiative we guided by the following points-of-view:

  • Member Centric: Keeping Members at the centre of our decision-making means we'll have more simplified and centralized account and Member profile information.
  • Costs: This upgrade will save DUCA money in the short-term and will help manage costs as we grow and develop.
  • Sustainability: We need to ensure we're  poised and prepared for the future and our upgrade will accomplish that.
  • Innovation: As the world of personal banking continues to evolve, our new system will enable us to adapt, adjust, and innovate.


  • July 10 until August 7: Prepare for banking system upgrade. See Resources below for information on possible actions required.
  • August 7 (at 4:00 pm) through August 10: Banking system upgrade takes place. Check the "Important Dates" below for banking availability.
  • August 11 and beyond: Upgrade complete. Review the Resource Guides below to determine if you need to undertake any new action.



Due to technical challenges, we regret that DUCA ATMs will not be available during the Banking System Upgrade and will CLOSE from 4:00 p.m. on August 7 until August 11. 


However, you may access a free ATM through THE EXCHANGE network. Find the ATM closest to you here.

For Personal Members and Businesses with one signing authority:

  • Important Dates including instructions for actions you may need to take prior to the upgrade as well as branch and call centre availability hours
